The White Hart might be over 600 years old and full of character, but when it comes our hotel guests, we strive to provide all the modern comforts. All our rooms are centrally heated, have hairdryers, ironing facilities, colour TV with Freeview, and a refreshments tray. And our 'Harty' breakfasts are second to none!
So whether you are visiting the area for business or leisure, or simply passing through on your way to Stansted Airport (just 25 minutes away) or the ports at Harwich or Felixstowe perhaps, The White Hart is the perfect place for a good night's rest.

ARRIVALCheck in is from 2 pm.
PARKINGOur car park, which can be accessed from Maldon Road, is for hotel residents and pub/restaurant customers only and is ANPR protected. In order to avoid a ticket, you will need to register your number plate on arrival, at one of the till point iPads.
Should our car park be full, there is a Pay & Display car park just 2 minutes away, on Newlands Drive (CM8 2AP). We accept no liability for vehicles whilst they are parked on our property. NO SMOKING POLICYSmoking is NOT permitted in any part of our establishment. There is a designated all weather smoking area outside for any smokers visiting The White Hart.
CHILDRENWell-behaved children are always welcome at The White Hart. Our Family Room can accommodate a family of 5 (with travel cot). Cots for children under 24 months are available for all rooms at no charge.
PETSUnfortunately, with the exception of assistance dogs, we are unable to accommodate pets.
DEPARTUREWe request that guests please vacate their rooms by 10 am on the day of their departure (11 am at weekends).
PAYMENTWe accept all major debit and credit cards, with the exception of Diners Club and American Express.
CANCELLATIONSPLEASE NOTE: Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hrs prior to arrival to avoid a charge of one night’s stay. |
