Dave, Tracy and the staff extend a warm welcome and invite you to join them in this relaxed, warm and friendly Hotel in the heart of Essex.

Bought in 2006, we've worked tirelessly to develop the hotel into a place where you can eat, drink and feel part of the family in a traditional English Pub setting.  We have original beams, open fireplaces, creaky oak floors and even offer wonky 13th century walls to set the mood! Our comprehensive menu is full to bursting with traditional British favourites, carefully selected specials and all at a price that won't break the bank. Wherever possible we use locally sourced ingredients. And not forgetting, our range of ales and fine wines (every last one tasted by Dave - guaranteed!) are available. Maybe you're in town for a reason? On business, a wedding or a family event? Only The White Hart offers hotel rooms in Witham town centre, with easy access to the A12, the railway station and all our town has to offer. Our 18 rooms are available year round.

We can offer our function facilities for meetings, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays (21 and above only), family get-together's or private dining. Whatever the occasion we're sure we can help!

We have a comfortable BBQ and Patio Garden at the rear of the premises, which can be enjoyed weather permitting, and free car parking is available to the rear of the hotel for patrons and hotel guests (subject to availability).
